Title: Information about JULinux
Post by: OkayPJ on July 04, 2021, 04:39:50 PM
JULinux's page here: https://archiveos.org/julinux/

According to JULinux's SourceForge page: https://sourceforge.net/projects/ultumix/

JULinux has a quite long history, it used to be called Ultumix and based on PCLinuxOS.

I've downloaded several files and images on it's SourceForge and found it's upstream switched between many distros: PCLinuxOS, Linux Mint, Ulimate Edition, Xubuntu, Ubuntu and Ubuntu MATE.

The lastest image, JULinux-20.04.6-amd64-RC1.iso, uploaded in 2020-10-14, is based on Ubuntu MATE and using MATE desktop. So I think the information page should be modified to fit the newest situation.

Huh, Didn't know that, maybe that's why I liked it back when I was still looking... tho I settled on PCLinuxOS.

When did it switch to Ubuntu base?
